InteRDom is excited to strengthen their relationship with the University of Pennsylvania (UPenn) by participating in the International Opportunities Fair at UPenn in Philadelphia, for the second consecutive year, on November 5, 2015, from 11:00 a.m – 3:00 p.m. in Houston Hall.
International Opportunities Fair
Date & Time: November 5, 2015, 11:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Location: University of Pennsylvania, Houston Hall, 3417 Spruce Street, Philadelphia, PA 19104
The fair is open to all UPenn students as well as students from three top liberal arts colleges in the Philadelphia area: Haverford, Bryn Mawr, and Swarthmore Colleges. InteRDom will be one of more than 30+ organizations represented at the fair, with roughly 600 students and alumni expected to be in attendance. InteRDom representatives have high hopes in recruiting more students to their program at this event like they successfully did the previous year, when 2015 InteRDom alumni, Katherine McKay, applied after discovering InteRDom’s table at the fair.
InteRDom, an initiative of Global Foundation for Democracy and Development (GFDD) and Fundación Global Democracia y Desarrollo (FUNGLODE), is the premier internship, research, and academic study program in the Dominican Republic. It offers international students the opportunity to research important topics at the forefront of the United Nations agenda, obtain professional experience by interning with Dominican organizations and businesses related to their fields of study, and/or earn academic credits by taking courses and seminars at a local university.
