As a continuation of their outreach to New York-area based students and universities, InteRDom Internships in the Dominican Republic is excited to be participating in the 2013 Summer & Fall Internship Fair at The New School in New York City on April 25, 2013. The fair is hosted by The New School’s Office of Career Development and is located at the Theresa Lang Center on the 2nd Floor.
InteRDom will be one of more than 20 organizations represented at the fair, where interested students and alumni of The New School can drop off their resumes and fill out application forms for the program, as well as discuss their research projects, internship interests and field of study with our representatives. InteRDom is also looking forward to making connections with student organizations that may be interested in having InteRDom present the program for students at an organization meeting.
InteRDom, an initiative of Global Foundation for Democracy and Development (GFDD) and Fundación Global Democracia y Desarrollo (FUNGLODE), is the premier internship, research and academic study program in the Dominican Republic. It offers international students the opportunity to research important topics at the forefront of the United Nations agenda, obtain professional experience by interning with Dominican organizations and businesses related to their fields of study and/or earn academic credits by taking courses and seminars at a local university.
Date & Time: April 25, 2013, 1:00 – 5:00 p.m.
