Applications are now open for the InteRDom Super Summer 2010 program, and the deadline for submission to any of the three summer program offerings has been extended to April 15, 2010.
InteRDom offers three different program options to students who wish to travel for the summer. The Academic Semester begins on May 3rd and is for undergraduate students who would like to perform an internship and take classes with other Dominican students at InteRDom’s partner university, Universidad Iberoamericana (UNIBE). The Caribbean Summer, also for undergraduates, begins on June 6 and features an internship, seminar series and specialized Caribbean Culture class tailored to InteRDom students. For Masters and gap year students, InteRDom offers a separate program, which includes an internship and/or research experience and a seminar series.
Perhaps one of the most exciting features of all InteRDom summer programs is the HOT Caribbean Seminar series. Seminars feature recent topics of great importance in the region, and are given in partnership with at least one other local or international institution. All seminars are open to the public and represent an excellent opportunity for cultural exchange, gathering students from the Dominican Republic, the United States and Haiti.
