The InteRDom program was a huge hit when it participated for the first time in the 9th annual International Opportunities Fair at the University of Pennsylvania (UPenn) in Philadelphia, on November 7, 2014. The fair was extremely well attended, attracting the participation of hundreds of students hailing from UPenn and three other top liberal arts colleges in the Philadelphia area: Haverford, Bryn Mawr, and Swarthmore Colleges. InteRDom participated for the first time in two back-to-back fairs at Michigan universities; the Global Opportunities Fair at Michigan State University on October 22nd, 2014, and the International Opportunities Fair at the University of Michigan on October 23rd, 2014. Each fair brought representatives from more than 30-40 international programs, and approximately 280 students at each fair, making these events some of the largest attended by InteRDom this year. For the third consecutive year, InteRDom participated in the seventh annual Baruch College Work Abroad Fair on October 7th, 2014,where representatives met with students from all backgrounds and academic interests looking to gain experience abroad. The fair attracted the participation of more than 75 students hailing from Baruch’s three schools: the Zicklin School of Business, Weissman School of Arts and Sciences and the School of Public Affairs. For the second time this year, InteRDom visited Saint Peter’s University in New Jersey on September 18, 2014 to participate in the Study Abroad Fair put on by the Center for Global Learning. More than 20 international study and exchange programs were represented at the fair, including large study abroad programs such a Cultural Vistas, international universities and Saint Peter’s short term and faculty led programs.
