Advertisement in “IIE Networker” Brings More Visibility to the Program

The Fall 2011 edition of the International Institute for Education’s biannual IIENetworker Magazine is finally available, and it features a half-page advertisement for InteRDom Internships in the Dominican Republic in both its online and print editions, as well as the institutional video of InteRDom’s parent institution, Global Foundation for Democracy and Development (GFDD) on its online viewer.

The Fall 2011 edition is titled “The Innovation Issue,” a subject with which InteRDom strongly identifies as it constantly seeks to diversify and create unique opportunities for scholars, professionals and students alike.

InteRDom is committed to bringing information on professional development and research opportunities in the Dominican Republic to a wider audience in the United States and abroad, and its presence in this magazine fulfills its mission to raise awareness that the country is an ideal international exchange destination for students and young professionals.

The IIENetworker publishes pieces on all aspects of international education around the world and features new research, as well as resources and articles that deal with everyday practice.  The Fall 2011 edition is titled “The Innovation Issue,” a subject with which InteRDom strongly identifies as it constantly seeks to diversify and create unique opportunities for scholars, professionals and students alike.

InteRDom’s presence in the IIENetworker is just one of its many efforts to contribute to scholarship on international education and to connect with other professionals and experts in the field.  A recent member of the Association of Academic Programs in Latin America and the Caribbean (AAPLAC), the program is working to strengthen its relationship with other organizations like International Institute for Education and the Council on International Educational Exchange (CIEE), whose annual conference InterDom representatives will attend in November.

The internship program, InteRDom is the premier internship, research and academic study program in the Dominican Republic. It offers international students the opportunity to research important topics at the forefront of the United Nations agenda, obtain professional experience by interning with Dominican organizations and businesses related to their fields of study and/or earn academic credits by taking courses and seminars at a local university.
