The “Networking Sessions for Organizations” initiative aims to create and strengthen relationships with partner organizations in the Dominican Republic by bringing together representatives working in the same sector to discuss a topic of common interest with local or international experts. It provides spaces for organizational development, professional networking and growth, as well as to share short- and medium-term projects to assess opportunities for collaboration.
This event is the second of a series of three per year, and will specifically target private sector organizations and others who wish to create or strengthen their corporate social responsibility and sustainability initiatives. These programs can be used to serve environmental, social and cultural causes, and are extremely valuable for employee morale, good public relations and service to communities.
At Wednesday’s event, Patricia Cuevas de Pittet will share her experience creating and managing a corporate social responsibility department at Grupo Universal which has grown and prospered, contributing to Grupo Universal’s award for three consecutive years as a “Great Place to Work.”
The event is free and open to the public and breakfast will be provided. Please RSVP toempresa@interdominternships.org.
