Jill Brumier is an International Law student at Paris II in France. She has spent the last three months in the Dominican Republic, as part of an exchange program with her university, and has also been carrying-out an internship at the National Commission for Commercial Exchange.
Jill is originally from Guadeloupe and, as part of her InteRDom internship, investigated remittances between the Dominican Republic and the European Union. She also attended classes at the National Judiciary School in Santo Domingo and participated in events with the French Embassy and the French Alliance in the country.
Jill has recently been accepted to study International Law at the University of Oxford in the United Kingdom. She is hoping to apply the experience and professional skills gained from InteRDom to a future career involving the establishment of commercial ties between neighboring Caribbean countries.
